App Permissions & Data Use
Camera & Photos
We use the camera to allow residents to scan QR codes for visitor verification and to upload profile photos or maintenance receipts. Photos are only uploaded when you explicitly choose to do so.
Biometric Authentication
Our app supports Face ID and Fingerprint sign-in. SocietyTracker does not collect or store your biometric data; all authentication is handled securely by your device's operating system.
Information We Collect
- Personal Information: Name, phone number, email address, and apartment details.
- Society Data: Billing records, maintenance requests, and amenity bookings.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for push notifications.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including 256-bit encryption and secure cloud hosting in Indian data centers, to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data. To request account deletion:
- Send an email to societytrackerapp@gmail.com from your registered email address.
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
- Include your Name, Apartment Number, and Phone Number for verification.
Upon verification, we will permanently delete your personal information, login credentials, and uploaded photos within 30 days. Please note that certain transaction records (like paid maintenance bills) may be retained longer as required by Indian financial and tax laws.
